Collateral Loans
Collateral Loans are when you bring us an item of value, and borrow a percentage of that value from us over a 30 day period.
At the end of that 30-day period you can choose to pick up your item by paying back the full balance, or pay a smaller fee to renew your contract for us to keep the item for another 30 days. Renewals can happen as many times as you need until you are able to pick up the item.
Collateral Loans are Pawns under a singular person's name, they cannot be returned or given to anyone else. While whoever has their name on the pawn is the only one able to pick up the item, anyone is able to come in to renew it or pay off the balance if you are unable to come in.
If there is a case where you are unable to renew or pick up your pawn at the end of 30-day period, your item can go for sale in store.
In order to receive a loan from us, please be sure to bring a government accepted form of identification with you. We are unable to create pawns without it. Below is what we accept:
- Provincial Driver’s License
- Provincial Photo Card
- Passport
- Citizenship Card
- Native Status Card
- CSC Release Card
- Social Insurance Number (SIN)
Picking up your item is quick and easy. Simply come into the store and inform a staff member that you are here to pick up your item. All we require is the piece of identification you originally provided and payment of the loan.
Pickups can be paid in either all cash or all via interact. We are currently unable to receive split payments on pawns
Title Loans
A title loan is a quick and convenient way for people who own their car (or motorcycle) to borrow money. In order to receive a title loan you must own your vehicle outright, and have it's lien-free title. You are able to use it as collateral while you continue to drive it and/or keep the vehicle in your possession.
To get a title loan you must come to the store with the following:
- Proof of valid driver’s license
- Seller’s Package from the MTO
- Ownership of the vehicle
- Proof of insurance on the vehicle
- Spare key to the vehicle
